The Big House
The "big house" without the attic offers
- 8 bedrooms with a total of 19 beds
- 3 bathrooms with shower
- seminar room (ca 10m x 5m)
- old mill room(ca. 7m x 5m)
- kitchen able to provide for 30 people
- interior dining room and exterior dining terrace
- "laundry terrace" and "smoking area"
- 2 storerooms for the laundry and food
The "big house" can be hired on its own and/or with the attic and/or the little house. In times of "Open-house" different families, couples or individuals live there communally and share the common rooms.
Bedrooms
The individual rooms have been renovated and furnished with great attention to detail. There are beautiful double and triple rooms in a variety of arrangements to suit all requirements.
Common Rooms & terraces
The seminar room with approx. 5m x 10m is the centre for workshops and group work. Here we sing, dance, do yoga, draw, meditate, do theatre, make music or just socialise.
The "food terrace" can seat up to 25 people. If it rains, there are various options for eating inside: small groups of up to 12 people can eat at the table in the small dining room next to the kitchen. Larger groups can dine in the rustic old mill room.
Handicraft
Stone and wood art (flotsam and jetsam from here) on the walls in the beams and in various places in the house are crafted by Uwe.
